Starting off as one of JEF's Project Managers and Estimators in the 1980s, Hugh O'Connell became an owner in 1992 and has left his mark on thousands of projects at JEF.
Successfully completing their first 100,000-square-foot project for our client, First Albany at 1 Penn Plaza. This project was led by Jim Fitzgerald with Project Manager Hugh O’Connell (now Owner), Superintendent Jim Wollweber (now Director of Construction), and Laborer/Asst. Super John Fitzgerald (now President).
The JEF office upgraded from pagers and pay phones to the BlackBerry! Since the BlackBerry, we've implemented exciting technology software's into our everyday business like time lapse videos, 3D Matterport technology, and heat map scans.
John Fitzgerald became the President of JEF. Starting as a union laborer during high school and college, John progressed through various roles, including Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, and Project Manager, and Vice President. His commitment and leadership qualities positioned him as an integral part of JEF's leadership team before taking the role of President in 2007.
Michael DeLisio became one of the owners of JEF. With his background in architecture, Mike transitioned to construction where he applies his architectural knowledge and skillset to everyday business.
Always looking to grow with our clients, James E. Fitzgerald opened our first regional office in CT. With a recent focus on northeast expansion, JEF has successfully completed projects in CT, MA, NJ, NY, PA, & RI.
